WANA (Jun 01) – The virtual account of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization has reacted to recent Israeli threats to bomb Beirut, warning that any crossing of red lines in Lebanon or Gaza would be considered a direct act of war.

In a statement published on its social media account, the organization said that Iran views any violation of red lines in Lebanon and Gaza as a direct conflict that imposes costs on its national security and on the Islamic resistance movements.

The statement added that, in response to such developments, Iran is prepared to undertake defensive operations through what it described as “norm-shattering measures” and the opening of new fronts. It also emphasized maintaining the Strait of Hormuz equation as part of its deterrence strategy.

The reaction comes amid escalating threats by Israeli officials against Lebanon, particularly Beirut, raising concerns about a broader expansion of regional tensions and conflict.
