IRGC Intelligence Reports Widespread Despair and Resignations Among U.S. Forces
WANA (Apr 15) – The IRGC Intelligence Organization reported on its official X account that intelligence assessments and field data indicate a profound level of frustration and hopelessness among U.S. forces stationed in the region.
The report attributes this decline in morale to several factors, including effective Iranian missile and drone strikes on U.S. bases, a lack of attention from Washington officials toward field reports, and the instability caused by frequent relocations and shifting orders from the President and the Secretary of Defense.
According to the statement, approximately 734 resignations were recorded across bases in three Gulf countries during the first month of the conflict alone.
The report claims this trend spans all ranks, from high-level command to junior personnel. It further alleges that senior military commanders have signaled that, per the Secretary of Defense’s instructions, the loss of soldiers is not a primary concern, citing the capture of troops as the only official “red line.”
