IRGC Intelligence: U.S. Decision-Making Space Has Narrowed
WANA (May 03) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization has stated that the United States is facing a significantly narrowed decision-making space regarding its current standoff with Iran.
According to a post from the organization’s official social media account, several factors have converged to limit Washington’s strategic maneuverability:
Deadline Issued to Pentagon: Iran has reportedly set an urgent deadline for the Pentagon regarding the ongoing blockade.
Shifting Global Sentiment: The intelligence body noted a distinct change in tone from China, Russia, and Europe against Washington’s positions.
Political Developments: The statement characterized a recent letter from President Trump to Congress as “passive” and pointed to the acceptance of Iran’s negotiating terms.
A Choice Between “Impossible” and “Bad”
The IRGC Intelligence Organization asserted that these developments carry a singular meaning for the U.S. administration. It claimed that President Trump is now forced to choose between an “impossible military operation” or what it described as a “bad deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
The statement concluded that the available room for U.S. decision-making has become severely restricted.
