IRGC Intelligence: U.S. Energy Disruption Strategy Has Failed
WANA (Apr 30) – The Intelligence Organization of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that the United States’ strategy in global energy management—described as having shifted during Donald Trump’s administration from “management” to “disruption”—has ultimately failed.
The organization said in a post on X that the Trump administration adopted a disruption-based approach to the global energy system, with maritime blockades forming part of a broader strategy aimed at containing China, Russia, and Europe.
The statement added that after around 20 days, assessments within the White House are increasingly pointing to the failure of this project. It further claimed that Tehran has now become the central hub of what it described as an “anti-disruption coalition.”
