IRGC: Invaders Will Face a Harsh Response
WANA (Sep 01) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that the perpetrators of the latest attacks would face a severe response, saying the United States would regret its new military actions.
Meanwhile, Hormozgan Province’s Deputy Governor for Political, Security and Social Affairs confirmed that several areas in the province and coastal regions had come under attack following an escalation of tensions in the area.
He said that initial assessments after the first reports indicated that no strikes had been confirmed inside the province, and that most of the sounds heard were related to tensions and clashes in the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
The deputy governor added that as confrontations intensified over the past hour, several locations in Hormozgan and coastal areas were targeted, noting that further details would be announced after more comprehensive assessments.
He emphasized that the situation across all areas of Hormozgan remained stable and assured residents that any hostile action would be met with a firm response.
The IRGC spokesperson also reiterated that Iran would continue to respond to U.S. military actions, warning that those responsible would face the consequences of their attacks.
