WANA (Jul 17) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced a surprise military strike targeting a U.S. facility in Syria, framing the operation as direct retaliation for the deaths of Iranian troops.

In an official statement addressed to the Iranian nation, the IRGC detailed the operation:

“In response to the malicious acts of the child-killing U.S. military, the warriors of the IRGC Aerospace Force launched the 11th wave of ‘Operation Nasr-2’. Operating under the sacred code ‘Ya Aba Abdillah al-Hossein’ and dedicating this mission to the oppressed martyred soldiers of Bampur, Iranshahr, our forces executed a surprise strike against the enemy’s Special Operations Command Center in the Al-Tanf region of Syria.”

According to the statement, the raid successfully destroyed a radar system and several specialized operations helicopters, while inflicting heavy casualties on U.S. forces in retaliation for the soldiers killed the previous night in Iranshahr.

The IRGC also issued a stern warning regarding regional energy corridors, stating, “Complete control of the Strait of Hormuz remains firmly in the hands of our brave warriors. As long as American aggression continues, not a single drop of oil or gas will be exported from this region.”
