IRGC Launches Wave 86 of “True Promise 4” Operation with Missile and Drone Strikes
WANA (Mar 29) – The Public Relations Office of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of Wave 86 of Operation “True Promise 4,” described as a multi-phase offensive involving coordinated missile and drone strikes carried out by the IRGC’s aerospace and naval forces.
According to the statement, the operation began early Sunday morning under the code phrase “O God, Lord of the Worlds.” It was dedicated to fallen journalists Ali Shuaib, Mohammad Fattouni, and Fatemeh Fattouni, as well as Armenian and Christian martyrs of the eight-year Iran-Iraq war and the Ramadan conflict.
In its initial phase, the IRGC reported targeting air and drone operation infrastructure, along with weapons stockpiles, at U.S.-linked bases including Victoria, Arifjan, and Al-Kharj using missile and drone strikes.
The statement further claimed that locations allegedly used by forces affiliated with the U.S. military, Israel, and the Komala group were precisely struck in multiple areas, including Arad, the Negev, Tel Aviv, Erbil, the U.S. Fifth Fleet, and Al Dhafra.
The IRGC also asserted that the release of images showing smoke plumes, explosions, and debris of destroyed high-value U.S. aircraft has undermined efforts by American allies in the region to suppress coverage of the attacks.
