WANA (Jun 11) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has issued a severe warning instructing all maritime vessels to remain anchored in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, declaring that any approach toward the Strait of Hormuz will be treated as acts of collaboration with the enemy.

 

The official statement, released by the IRGC Navy in the early hours of today, reads as follows: “Following repeated violations of the ceasefire conditions by the American enemy, the Strait of Hormuz is closed until further notice.

 

We warn all vessels to remain at their current anchorages within the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman and not to move. Approaching the Strait of Hormuz will be deemed as cooperation with the enemy.”

 

Absolute Closure Enforced

Furthermore, early this morning, the Commander of the IRGC Navy reiterated the strategic positions previously announced by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters regarding the total shutdown of the waterway. The commander emphasized that any maritime traffic attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz will be met with decisive, forceful action.

 

The second official directive, published at 2:34 AM local time, reads: “Following recent malicious actions by the terrorist U.S. military that have compromised regional security, the IRGC Navy hereby notifies all commercial and oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman that the Strait of Hormuz is completely closed effective immediately. Any and all vessel movement through the Strait will be decisively countered.

 

To ensure your own safety, absolutely refrain from transiting the Strait of Hormuz until further notice.”
