IRGC Navy Hits Cargo Ship ‘MSC Sariska’ with Cruise Missile in Retaliatory Strike
WANA (Jun 02) – The Public Relations department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced that it has targeted a commercial vessel linked to the United States and Israel with a cruise missile. The operation was described as a direct retaliation for an earlier American strike on an Iranian ship.
According to the official statement, the retaliatory operation targeted the vessel “MSC Sariska,” which the IRGC identified as being owned by the “American-Zionist enemy.”
The strike was executed in response to a prior aggressive assault by the U.S. military against the Iranian bulk carrier “Lian Star” in the Sea of Oman.
The IRGC Navy condemned the actions of the U.S. military, labeling it a terrorist force, and issued a stern warning regarding maritime security in regional waters: “Any further aggression by the child-killing U.S. military in this region will be met with a decisive and crushing response.”
