WANA (Jul 29) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced in its 53rd statement that three oil tankers it described as “violating vessels” had been struck and forced to stop in the Strait of Hormuz, while reiterating that it continues to maintain full control over the strategic waterway.

 

In the statement, the IRGC Navy praised what it described as the Iranian people’s 150 days of steadfastness, saying their continued presence and resistance had demonstrated a new level of national awareness, determination, and resilience.

 

According to the statement, the IRGC Navy continues to exercise full operational control over the Strait of Hormuz and remains committed to safeguarding the country’s security and national interests.

 

The statement said that hours earlier, three oil tankers that had ignored repeated warnings and continued sailing along what it called an “unsafe and illegal route” were struck and brought to a halt.

 

The IRGC Navy also warned that what it described as the U.S. military’s “unlawful interference and directives” to vessels operating in the region would not go unanswered.

 

The statement concluded with the Quranic verse: “Victory comes only from Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise.”
