WANA (Apr 04) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) praised Iran’s tribal communities for their role in recent confrontations, stating that two Black Hawk helicopters were effectively targeted.

In Statement No. 55 of the “True Promise” operations, the IRGC said that on the 35th day of the conflict, Iranian tribes demonstrated what it described as the country’s “true power” on the battlefield.

According to the statement, tribal groups from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province and Bakhtiari region independently targeted two Black Hawk helicopters in remote mountainous areas.

The helicopters were said to have entered Iranian airspace in an attempt to recover pilots from a downed F-35 aircraft.

The IRGC expressed appreciation for what it described as the bravery and longstanding role of tribal communities as defenders of Iran’s territory.

The statement added that widespread mobilization among different segments of Iranian society has, in its view, surprised opposing forces and reflects a unified demand for retaliation against U.S. and Israeli actions.
