IRGC Reports Cruise Missile Strike on Amazon Data Infrastructure in Bahrain
WANA (Jul 21) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Public Relations department has issued Statement No. 39, detailing a targeted cruise missile attack against central data infrastructure belonging to the U.S. tech company Amazon in Bahrain.
In its address to the Iranian public, the IRGC framed the strike as part of the ongoing Wave 24 of “Operation Nasr-2.” The military branch declared that the action was carried out in direct response to recent U.S. strikes on civilian construction facilities in Darkhovin, Iran.
According to the IRGC Aerospace Force, multiple cruise missiles were launched at Amazon’s data infrastructure in Bahrain, leaving the facility destroyed.
The IRGC concluded the statement by confirming that further updates regarding this phase of operations will be delivered to the public in due course.
