IRGC Reports Strikes on USS Abraham Lincoln and U.S. Military Sites
WANA (Apr 03) – Heavy missile strikes as part of the 91st wave of “Operation True Promise 4” began minutes ago, targeting the heart of Tel Aviv and Haifa and sending nearly five million Israelis into underground shelters.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it carried out precision strikes targeting the USS Abraham Lincoln and locations hosting U.S. military personnel in the 91st wave of “Operation True Promise 4.”
According to the statement, IRGC naval forces launched a large-scale operation at dawn using ballistic missiles, Qadir cruise missiles, and loitering drones against U.S. and Israeli military and infrastructure targets in southern Persian Gulf countries.
The IRGC said four Qadr-380 cruise missiles struck the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group in the northern Indian Ocean.
It added that a covert site hosting U.S. flight engineers and fighter pilots outside a military base in the United Arab Emirates was hit by ballistic missiles, with field reports and heavy ambulance movement indicating significant casualties.
In a subsequent phase, the IRGC reported a heavy attack on U.S. MQ-1 drone units at Ali Al Salem Air Base.
