WANA (Jul 20) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that its naval forces carried out coordinated attacks on U.S. military positions in Bahrain and Kuwait as part of the 23rd wave of Operation Nasr 2.

 

According to the statement, the first phase targeted drone maintenance and storage facilities used by U.S. forces at Al Sakhir Air Base in Bahrain, which the IRGC claimed were destroyed.

 

The statement added that the second phase struck facilities used to prepare Task Force 59 (TF-59) vessels at Salman Port in Bahrain. The IRGC said the attack destroyed the facilities and inflicted heavy damage on the vessels stationed there.

In the third phase, the IRGC claimed it targeted support, logistics, and equipment facilities for U.S. naval special operations forces at Arifjan Base in Kuwait, stating that the site was completely destroyed.

 

The IRGC further said that its missile and drone operations, described as retaliation for what it called U.S. military aggression, would continue.

 

The statement also rejected recent remarks by the U.S. president suggesting that Iran’s missile and drone stockpiles were running low. The IRGC asserted that Iran retains significant operational capabilities and said attacks on U.S. forces would continue if the conflict persists.
