WANA (Sep 14) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had intercepted and destroyed an MQ-1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz.

 

In a statement, the IRGC Public Relations Department said the drone was intercepted moments earlier by a newly developed air defense system operated by the IRGC Aerospace Force, under the control of Iran’s integrated air defense network, and subsequently destroyed over the Strait of Hormuz.
