WANA (Jul 09) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it launched 10 ballistic missiles at an enemy command-and-control center in West Asia and the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, warning that any further U.S. military action would trigger attacks on additional American bases across the region.

 

In a statement, the IRGC said the strikes were carried out at 2:20 p.m. local time as the second phase of its response to recent U.S. attacks.

 

The statement said the operation followed an earlier warning that any renewed U.S. military action would expand Iran’s response to other enemy bases in the region.

 

The IRGC warned that if the U.S. military launches further attacks, “other American bases in the region will not be spared from our heavy fire.”
