WANA (Jul 24) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its Aerospace Force carried out the 27th wave of Operation Nasr 2, targeting U.S. military positions in Jordan and Iraq’s Kurdistan Region.

According to the statement, the operation targeted the Al Azraq Air Base in Jordan, where several U.S. military aircraft sustained significant damage. The IRGC also said a residence used by U.S. military personnel was struck, resulting in an unspecified number of casualties.

The statement added that IRGC forces destroyed a Patriot air defense system and a U.S. surveillance balloon in Erbil, and also targeted a residence used by U.S. personnel in the city.

The IRGC said it would respond with different measures if the United States continues its military actions.
