WANA (Mar 10) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, said Iran’s armed forces are waiting for the arrival of the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford in the region, amid escalating rhetoric with the United States.

Responding to recent remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, Naeini stated that the American leader is making false claims about the weakening of Iran’s military power.

“The lying president of the United States, in order to escape the pressure of war and to end the desperation of American forces in the region, has falsely claimed that the power of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic has ended.”

He stated, “The criminal Trump, after disgraceful defeats in the war, is seeking through deception and trickery to fabricate achievements in the war, deceive public opinion, and escape psychological pressure. We have seen nothing from Trump except lies.”

Naeini rejected Trump’s assertion that commercial and military ships are operating normally in the region and passing easily through the Strait of Hormuz.

“He has claimed that commercial and military ships are present in the region and are easily passing through the Strait of Hormuz, while in reality American warships, vessels, and all aircraft have moved more than 1,000 kilometers away from the region to remain safe from Iran’s powerful missiles and drones.”

He added, “The cowardly and fearful naval soldiers of Trump have increased their distance to more than 1,000 kilometers after firing four missiles at the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.”

“Trump claims that the situation for his soldiers in the region is normal and ideal, while American soldiers, after fleeing U.S. bases with their backpacks, have become scattered in the cities of the region, and some have taken refuge in regional hotels. Israeli military personnel, by creating human shields for themselves, have hidden among civilians and urban facilities,” Naeini stated.

Regarding Iran’s missile launches, he said, “Trump falsely claimed that Iran’s missile launches have decreased or ended, while Iranian missiles are now more powerful than in the first days of the war and are being launched in greater numbers, with warheads exceeding one ton, toward U.S. bases and the Zionist regime.”

“The ‘siren-to-siren’ conditions in the occupied territories, the long-term confinement of settlers in shelters, and clashes among Israeli citizens at airports while trying to flee better show the reality on the battlefield,” Naeini noted.

IRGC Spokesman stated that, “Trump sought to bring the Iranian people into the streets against the Islamic Republic and create social collapse in Iran, but today he has received a hard slap from the aware people of Iran in the streets, and the anger and desire for revenge among Iranians against the criminal Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu has expanded.”

Commenting on assassinating Iran’s leadership, he said, “Trump attempted, in the shortest possible time and with the least cost, to paralyze the Islamic Republic internally and force it to surrender by assassinating Iran’s leadership and senior military commanders.”

“However, the worthy and powerful selection of Iran’s leader and the effective management of the war by Iranian military commanders have frustrated and disappointed them and have caused their allies to lose hope in the possibility of the collapse of the Islamic Republic,” he added.

He stated, “Trump claimed he would interfere in the selection of Iran’s leadership and appoint a leader according to his filthy desires, but today an anti-American and revolutionary figure has been chosen as the leader of the revolution, and dear Ali Khamenei has become younger.”

“Trump began this war by lying to the American people, but now our responses have left him confused and helpless. Before the war, he claimed he could control oil prices, while in the first nine days of the war, oil prices nearly doubled. Even today, he is using artificial means to escape the astronomical oil prices affecting his partners,” Naeini said.

General Ali Mohammad Naeini warned that, “If the aggression of the U.S. army and the Zionist regime against the Iranian people and service infrastructure continues, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic will not allow the export of even one liter of oil from the region to the hostile side and its partners until further notice. Trade during wartime is subject to security conditions.”

He further revealed that, “We know your ammunition is running out and that you are seeking an honorable exit from the war. Why do you not tell the American people the truth? Trump does not want the American people to realize that all U.S. military infrastructure in the Persian Gulf region has been destroyed. Nearly ten highly advanced American radars across the region have been destroyed. A large number of your expensive drones have been destroyed by Iran’s air defense.”

“Our hands are open to expand the war. Security will exist for everyone, or insecurity will exist for everyone. It is we who will determine the end of the war,” the IRGC Spokesman said.

He announced that, “The armed forces of the Islamic Republic are waiting for the U.S. naval fleet in the region of the Strait of Hormuz and are awaiting the aircraft carrier, Gerald Ford.”

“The initiative over the battlefield conditions and the end of the war lies with the Islamic Republic. The regional equations and the future of the region are now in the hands of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic. U.S. forces will not be the ones to end the war,” Naeini said.

He concluded, “Trump claims Iranian missiles are finished and no longer have destructive power. If that is true, why do you not allow journalists and the media to publish images of the impacts and destruction? Why do you hide the casualty figures?”
