WANA (Jun 02) – The spokesperson and Deputy Head of Public Relations for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared that if the enemy returns to the military arena, the nature of operations, the geography of the battlefield, and even the types of weaponry utilized will be completely different, emphasizing that the IRGC maintains full readiness for all possible scenarios.

Media in War Must Be Viewed as a Primary Pillar of Combat Equipment

Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi, the spokesperson and Deputy Head of Public Relations for the IRGC, stated: “Media should not be regarded as a mere secondary tool in warfare, but rather must be recognized as one of the primary pillars of combat equipment. Just as missiles, drones, and other components of military power hold immense importance, the media carries equal weight and must be viewed as an essential pillar within the matrix of power and warfare.”

He added: “We must reach a point where narration is also considered a component of the operation itself. We must attach the same level of importance to narrating an event as we do to firing a missile; otherwise, we will lose a significant portion of our capabilities.”

General Mohebi also highlighted the importance of timing in strategic communication, noting: “The initial dissemination of information must be swift, but the subsequent, comprehensive narration—following the clarification of all dimensions of the matter—must serve to complement the primary report.”

Military Readiness is Higher Today Than Ever Before

Emphasizing the total readiness of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the IRGC spokesperson asserted: “The current readiness of our Armed Forces is higher than in the past. This preparedness, in addition to our pre-existing capabilities, is the direct result of the experience gained on the battlefield and through direct confrontation with the enemy.”

He added: “Today, our understanding of the enemy, their offensive and defensive equipment, their deceptions, and their operational styles is far clearer than ever before.”

Rejecting American claims regarding the degradation of Iran’s military capabilities, General Mohebi stated: “Throughout this period, the country’s combat power has never decreased. Contrary to the claims being propagated, neither the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been destroyed, nor has its operational capability been reduced.”

He continued: “The best proof of this is that despite deploying its vast capabilities across land, sea, and air, the United States could not wrest control of the Strait of Hormuz from the Islamic Republic of Iran even for a few minutes. The United States entered the arena with immense power to impose its desired conditions in the Strait of Hormuz, yet it utterly failed to achieve its objectives.”

Military and Operational Capabilities Expanded During the Ceasefire Period

The IRGC Deputy Head of Public Relations emphasized: “The reality is that during the ceasefire period, our military and operational capabilities have increased. The opportunity created was spent on upgrading combat power, strengthening readiness, and compensating for damage. Today, our Armed Forces are in a better condition compared to the past.”

Regarding the status of the Strait of Hormuz, he stated: “The sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the Strait of Hormuz remains fully established and has never been weakened. Sovereignty over the Strait and its management stands as one of the definitive symbols of the IRGC’s authority.”

Pointing to the field achievements of the recent war, General Mohebi stated: “One of the most significant outcomes of this conflict is the enhanced operational understanding that our Armed Forces have gained regarding the enemy. If in the past a portion of our knowledge regarding the enemy’s capabilities and hardware was based on intelligence and news reports, today this knowledge has transformed into firsthand field and operational understanding.”

He continued: “Today, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran possess a highly precise understanding of the enemy’s air defense capabilities, their military capacities, and their operational bases. Furthermore, the experience of directly confronting the operational methods and tactics deployed by the enemy has added to the knowledge capital of the Armed Forces, and these experiences are now considered part of the country’s defense power and readiness.”

Expansion of Armed Forces’ Capabilities Across Diverse Sectors

The IRGC Deputy Head of Public Relations noted: “Throughout this duration, nothing has been deducted from the military capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran; rather, the nation’s power has expanded across various sectors. This growth in capability has been achieved in both offensive and defensive equipment.”

General Mohebi asserted: “When we look at the increase in offensive capabilities, the growth in defensive power, command experience, field knowledge gained from combat, and a more precise understanding of the enemy’s capabilities collectively, we arrive at the conclusion that the military power of the Islamic Republic of Iran has tangibly increased compared to before the start of the recent war, and even compared to the past one or two months.”

IRGC Ready for All Potential Scenarios

He emphasized: “Despite our readiness across all domains, the military front will continue to be maintained at the highest level of alertness, because we believe the military arena remains the primary domain upon which the enemy relies to realize its objectives.”

The IRGC spokesperson concluded by stating: “In the event that the enemy returns to the military arena, the type of operations, the geography of the battlefield, and even the type of weapons utilized will be entirely different, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is fully prepared for all potential scenarios.”
