WANA (Jul 15) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in Statement No. 11 issued by its Public Relations Office, announced that the U.S. Army’s main logistics and support center in Western Asia, located in Mina Abdullah, Kuwait, was targeted, set ablaze, and destroyed during the fourth wave of Operation Nasr 2.

 

According to the statement, the IRGC praised the Iranian people for what it described as their unprecedented and courageous presence, saying their support has strengthened the resolve of the country’s armed forces.

 

The statement further said that IRGC and Basij forces, relying on public support and faith, have continued to manage the battlefield successfully while responding to U.S. military actions.

 

The IRGC also stated that the United States launched cruise missile and airstrikes against several coastal bases and locations in Iran’s southern provinces following what it described as previous operational failures. It said Iranian forces responded with retaliatory strikes against the attacking forces.

 

The statement added that during the fourth wave of Operation Nasr 2, carried out under the code name “Ya Aba Abdillah Al-Hussain (AS)”, the KJL, described as the U.S. Army’s main logistics and support center in Western Asia in Mina Abdullah, Kuwait, was set ablaze and destroyed.

 

The IRGC concluded by saying that its retaliatory operations will continue and that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until what it described as U.S. hostilities come to an end.
