WANA (Jul 15) – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released Statement No. 12, announcing that the fifth wave of Operation Nasr 2 targeted command and control centers, military equipment warehouses, and fuel storage facilities belonging to the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

 

According to the statement, the operation was carried out in the early hours of today by the IRGC Navy under the code name “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib (PBUH).” The statement claims that the operation struck and destroyed the NSI Management Center, a command and control center, major warehouses containing military parts and equipment, and fuel depots associated with the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

 

The IRGC further claimed that the United States had deployed its naval forces in the Indian Ocean and, under the pretext of controlling the Strait of Hormuz, had blocked maritime routes, depriving the world of the region’s oil and gas exports. It described the operation as a response to what it called recent U.S. “acts of aggression.”

 

The statement concluded by warning that if restrictions on regional energy exports continue, other oil and gas export routes serving the interests of the United States and its allies could also face disruption.

 

The statement ended with the message: “The region’s oil and gas exports must be available to everyone—or to no one.”
