WANA (Jul 21) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Public Relations department has issued Statement No. 36, announcing a series of overnight missile and drone strikes against key U.S. military assets stationed in Kuwait.

 

Addressing the Iranian public, the statement declared that the operations were carried out by the IRGC Aerospace Force as part of the second phase of Wave 24 of “Operation Nasr-2.” The stated objective of these ongoing strikes is to eliminate defense obstacles and pave the way for broader aerial and missile operations.

 

According to the announcement, Iranian forces launched targeted missile and drone attacks hitting a long-range radar site, a telecommunications center, satellite receiving systems, and a missile defense radar belonging to U.S. forces in Kuwait, resulting in their destruction.

 

Additionally, the IRGC reported that a hangar housing MQ-9 Reaper drones at the Ali Al Salem Air Base was struck during the operation, destroying and severely damaging multiple unmanned aerial vehicles inside the facility.

 

The IRGC concluded the statement by affirming that its operations against U.S. forces will continue and asked the public for their continued prayers and support.
