WANA (Jul 23) – The Public Relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued Announcement No. 46, reporting a combined retaliatory strike against US forces in Kuwait and issuing a direct warning to the British government.

 

Addressing the Iranian public, the statement opened by thanking the population for their continued support and revolutionary demands, calling their presence the greatest source of encouragement and faith for the armed forces.

 

The IRGC stated that the military action—designated as Wave 26 of Operation Nasr-2 under the code “Ya Aba Abdillah Al-Hussein” and dedicated to Arbaeen pilgrims—was launched in response to an early morning US attack on pilgrims traveling toward Karbala.

 

The statement described the US action as revealing a violent and ruthless nature, contrasting it with the religious significance of the pilgrimage.

 

During the operation, IRGC forces carried out combined attacks against the US military presence at the Al-Udairi base. The strikes destroyed a specialized US electronic warfare unit, hit troop quarters resulting in dead and wounded personnel, and damaged the base’s air traffic control tower. The statement added that these punitive operations remain ongoing.

 

The release further addressed recent diplomatic rhetoric from Washington regarding a return to negotiations. The IRGC characterized the US as defeated on the battlefield and attempting to use deception to secure a breathing room to regroup.

 

Iran stated that the enemy must pay for its breach of promises, emphasizing that it will not allow deceptive ceasefires designed to replenish US oil and ammunition stockpiles for subsequent attacks.

 

Detailing recent military engagements, the IRGC noted that following the resumption of hostilities, US forces initially launched cruise missiles from naval vessels in the Indian Ocean. After exhausting those missile supplies, American forces turned to deploying B-1 bombers operating directly out of the RAF Fairford airbase in the United Kingdom.

 

Reiterating official foreign policy positions, the IRGC affirmed that any base used to facilitate aggression against Iranian territory is considered a legitimate target.

 

The announcement concluded with a stern warning to the British monarchy, describing London as a primary historical source of misfortune in the region with a record that includes the division of Islamic countries, mass killings, the imposition of authoritarian governments, and the organization of the occupation of Palestine.

 

Warning the UK over its participation in recent US and Israeli actions against Iran, the IRGC cautioned the British government not to add further weight to its record.
