IRGC Targets Two U.S.-Linked Aerospace-Related Industries in the Region
WANA (Mar 29) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that two industries linked to U.S. military and aerospace sectors in the region were targeted in missile and drone strikes.
According to the IRGC’s public relations office, the strikes were carried out as part of a coordinated operation by its aerospace and naval forces.
The statement reads:
“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Following the malicious action by the American-Israeli enemy in targeting the industrial infrastructure of our beloved country from bases in the southern littoral states of the Persian Gulf, the fighters of the Aerospace and Naval Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps conducted a coordinated and targeted operation. As a result, two industries linked to U.S. military and aerospace sectors in the region—namely the Emirates Global Aluminium (EMAL) facility in the UAE and the Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA) plant in Bahrain—were effectively struck by missiles and drones.
It is worth noting that the EMAL facility, which operates the world’s longest aluminium production line with a capacity of 1.3 million tons, and the ALBA plant, partly owned and financed by American companies, play a significant role in supplying materials used in the military industries of the U.S. armed forces.
Iran’s response to threats and acts of aggression by hostile forces will no longer be based on the principle of ‘an eye for an eye.’ Rather, any further escalation will be met with more severe blows to the military and economic structures of its adversaries.”
