WANA (Apr 05) –  The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the completion of the first phase of “Wave 96” under Operation True Promise 4. The mission was launched in direct retaliation for recent strikes on Iranian civilian infrastructure, specifically the B1 Bridge in Karaj and petrochemical facilities in Mahshahr.

In a statement released via IRGC Public Relations, the military body warned that any further targeting of civilian objectives will trigger a “second phase” that will be significantly more destructive and widespread.

Reported Targets and Strike Details

The joint operation, conducted by IRGC Naval and Aerospace forces, reportedly targeted key economic and energy hubs linked to the U.S. and Israel:

  • Haifa, Israel: A heavy strike on a refinery supplying fuel to the Israeli Air Force, resulting in the destruction of major sections.
  • Habshan, UAE: Attacks on gas facilities operated by U.S. energy giants ExxonMobil and Chevron.
  • Al-Ruwais, UAE: Missile strikes on a U.S.-owned petrochemical plant, allegedly sparking massive fires at a facility producing fuel for U.S. and Israeli military forces.
  • Sitra, Bahrain: A heavy drone offensive against the Citra petrochemical plant, a key supplier for the U.S. military in the region.
  • Shuaiba, Kuwait: A strike on the Shuaiba petrochemical complex, reportedly causing a total shutdown and extensive fires.

Warnings of Escalation

The IRGC characterized these strikes as a “first response,” asserting that the U.S. and Israel are targeting civilian sites to mask their failures in the maritime, security, and aerial theaters.

“The enemy must know that by targeting Iran’s civilian infrastructure, they have effectively set fire to Haifa, Habshan, Al-Ruwais, Sitra, and Shuaiba themselves,” the statement read.

The military command emphasized a “double-response” policy, warning that a repeat of attacks on non-military targets would lead to a doubling of the enemy’s losses. The IRGC also vowed to eventually seek financial reparations for damaged Iranian infrastructure, stating that “American taxpayers will ultimately pay for these illegal aggressions.”
