IRGC: The Most Intense Attacks Against Israel and the United States
WANA (Mar 01) – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that what it described as the most intense offensive operation in the history of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran has begun, targeting what it called the “occupied territories” and U.S. military bases.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya also emphasized that the enemies of the Iranian nation—particularly the United States and Israel—would be made to regret their actions through strength, resolve, and public support.
The IRGC stated that Iran’s Armed Forces would carry out what it described as a “different and severe step” in retaliation.
In Statement No. 6, the IRGC Public Relations Office announced that 27 locations linked to U.S. bases in the region were targeted, along with Tel Nof Airbase, the Israeli army’s General Command Headquarters in HaKirya, and a major defense industry complex in Tel Aviv.
According to Statement No. 6, the sixth wave of “Operation True Promise 4” was conducted with extensive missile and drone strikes by the IRGC against targets in the “occupied territories” and U.S. military bases in the region.
The statement reiterated that 27 U.S. base locations, Tel Nof Airbase, the Israeli army’s General Command Headquarters in HaKirya, and a large defense industry complex in Tel Aviv were among the targets. It further declared that Iran’s Armed Forces would not allow air raid sirens to fall silent in the targeted areas and would continue what it described as successive and decisive retaliatory strikes.
The IRGC also announced that a U.S. Army airbase in Riyadh was precisely struck by Iranian missiles and drones.
In addition, it stated that Harir Airbase in Iraq, which it described as hosting U.S. special forces and commandos, was also specifically targeted.
Reports further claimed that an Iranian missile struck part of a building associated with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Dubai, and that a video of the incident has circulated.
Lebanon’s Al-Ahed news outlet reported that following the missile strike on what it described as a CIA facility in Dubai, footage was released showing damage to parts of the building.
The video reportedly shows sections of the structure being hit and sustaining damage. U.S. and local officials have not yet released official details regarding the extent of the damage or possible casualties. However, the reported attack has led to heightened security measures and reactions in the region.
It was also reported that Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, was killed in a joint U.S.–Israeli attack on the morning of Saturday, February 28.
Following the killing of the Supreme Leader by the United States and Israel, the cabinet declared 40 days of public mourning and seven days of nationwide closure.
