IRGC: Trump’s Claim Strongly Denied
WANA (Jun 11) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has strongly rejected recent remarks by Donald Trump regarding alleged contacts with Iranian officials, describing the claim as “a cover for escaping the consequences of war.”
In a statement, the IRGC’s Public Relations Office said that Trump’s assertion that Iranian officials had reached out to him was “categorically denied” and that no such communication had taken place.
The statement further argued that such claims are being made to justify the current situation and to evade responsibility for the repercussions of war.
The response came after Trump claimed that officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran had asked him to halt the bombings. He also alleged that he had held direct conversations with Iranian officials.
The IRGC dismissed these assertions as false and reiterated that no contacts had occurred between Iranian officials and Trump.
