IRGC: U.S. Base in Kuwait, Fifth Fleet Watchtower Targeted
WANA (Jul 24) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in its Statement No. 50 that three ammunition and equipment storage warehouses at the U.S. military base in Al Adairi, Kuwait, along with a watchtower at the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, were targeted during the 27th wave of Operation Nasr 2.
According to the statement, the operation was carried out under the code name “Ya Aba Saleh Al-Mahdi Adrikni.” The IRGC claimed its forces struck three warehouses used for storing ammunition and military equipment at the Al Adairi base, setting them on fire and destroying them.
The statement also said that, simultaneously, the watchtower at the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain was targeted, resulting in what it described as significant damage.
The IRGC further praised the support of the Iranian people and said its “punitive operations” against U.S. targets would continue.
