WANA (Sep 06) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in its 11th statement that its naval forces had targeted a U.S. drone boat (remotely operated vessel) that was attempting to enter the protected area of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the statement, IRGC naval forces are closely monitoring U.S. military movements in the area and warned that any threatening action or suspicious activity would be met with a response.

The IRGC also described the Strait of Hormuz as a strategic waterway under the management of the Islamic Republic of Iran and warned that any U.S. military activity in the area would face a “decisive response.”

The statement concluded by calling on the United States to leave the region and refrain from actions that could further escalate tensions.
