IRGC: U.S. Military Operational Infrastructure Targeted in the 36th Wave of “True Promise 4”
WANA (Mar 11) – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in statement No. 29 of Operation “True Promise 4” that the 36th wave of the operation had been carried out, targeting U.S. military operational infrastructure in the region.
According to the statement, the 36th wave of the operation was conducted on the night of the 21st day of the holy month of Ramadan, which coincided with Laylat al-Qadr, under the code name “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).” During this phase, a large number of “Qadr,” “Kheibar Shekan,” and “Emad” missiles were launched at designated targets.
The statement said that the attacks targeted the U.S. Fifth Naval Base in the region, as well as the Al Udeid, Al Udeiri, and Al Harir bases in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. According to the IRGC, the strikes destroyed the operational infrastructure of the U.S. military at these locations.
The IRGC Public Relations Office also called on senior U.S. political and military officials in Washington to travel to the region instead of making public statements, and to witness firsthand the realities on the ground and the situation at U.S. bases and among American forces.
In another part of the statement, addressing the American public, the IRGC said that the achievements of decades of U.S. government policies and presence in the region have suffered major setbacks in a short period of time.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that military operations within this framework are ongoing.
