WANA (Apr 08) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a statement warning that continued attacks against Lebanon will be met with a decisive response.

 

According to the statement released on April 8, 2026, only hours after a ceasefire agreement was announced, new strikes reportedly began in Beirut, which the IRGC described as a clear violation of commitments.

 

Condemning the reported attacks, the IRGC cautioned that if the aggression against Lebanon is not immediately halted, it will “act upon its duty” and deliver what it called a “regret-inducing response” to what it described as “aggressors in the region.”

 

The statement also referenced the United States, describing it as a partner in these actions, and warned of the consequences of continued escalation.
