IRGC Warns: “Our Hands Are on the Trigger”
WANA (Apr 08) – A senior commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace and Iranian Naval forces have issued a warning following the ceasefire, asserting that their forces remain in a state of maximum readiness despite the declared ceasefire.
Brigadier General Seyed Majid Mousavi, Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, shared a significant excerpt from the Supreme National Security Council’s statement on social media, emphasizing the military’s posture. The IRGC Naval Command echoed this message simultaneously via its official account on X.
The joint message underscored that the military’s restraint is contingent upon political progress and the enemy’s strict adherence to the ceasefire terms:
“If the enemy’s surrender on the battlefield is transformed into a decisive political achievement in the negotiations, we will celebrate this massive historical victory together; otherwise, we will fight side-by-side on the battlefield until all the demands of the Iranian nation are met. Our hands are on the trigger, and the moment the slightest error is committed by the enemy, it will be responded to with full power.”
They also noted that, “Even today, they experienced and saw for themselves that our hands are on the trigger; the moment the slightest error is committed by the enemy, it will be responded to with full power.”
