WANA (Mar 13) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a new statement describing the latest phase of its “Operation True Promise 4,” warning U.S. forces to leave the region immediately or face direct attacks wherever they are located.

In statement No. 35 released by the IRGC’s public relations office, the force said a heavy barrage of Kheibar Shekan ballistic missiles, each carrying a one-ton warhead, was launched against targets belonging to what it described as the “Zionist occupiers.” The attack marked the 44th wave of Operation True Promise 4, carried out on the night of the 23rd day of the holy month of Ramadan and ahead of International Quds Day.

According to the statement, the operation—conducted under the code name “Ya Shadid al-Eqab”—targeted several locations in the occupied Palestinian territories, including parts of West Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Eilat.

The IRGC said the strikes were carried out in remembrance of what it called the “martyrs of the path to Jerusalem and resistance,” particularly Major General Hossein Salami, described as the commander behind previous “True Promise” operations.

The statement also claimed that Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base and other U.S. military installations in Manama and Erbil were hit by some of the “most intense missile and drone strikes” launched by the IRGC.

Additionally, the statement said air defense units affiliated with resistance groups reportedly struck a U.S. KC-130 Stratotanker refueling aircraft while it was refueling a fighter jet, causing it to crash and killing all six crew members.

Separately, a spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said a U.S. military refueling aircraft was hit by a missile launched by resistance forces in western Iraq, resulting in its crash and the deaths of all crew members on board.

In the final part of the statement, the IRGC issued a direct warning to U.S. troops stationed in the region, urging them to leave immediately. Otherwise, it said, they would be targeted “wherever they are—whether in hotels, tunnels, industrial compounds, or underground shelters.”

The IRGC concluded by reiterating that the “liberation of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Zionist regime” remain its ultimate objectives, which it said would be achieved with divine support.
