WANA (Nov 05) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) has been tasked with establishing an international television network in Hebrew, following a new directive from the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.

 

According to Article 2 of the council’s latest resolution, the initiative aims to strengthen Iran’s media diplomacy, counter hostile media narratives, and present a more accurate account of regional developments and the Iranian nation’s positions.

 

Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, officially communicated the resolution titled “National Cultural, Social, Media, Scientific, and Technological Policies and Actions in Special Circumstances.” The measure was approved during the council’s 920th session on August 26, 2025.

 

Under one of the clauses of this resolution, IRIB is instructed to create an international television network broadcasting in Hebrew to provide effective responses to the media propaganda of the Israeli regime and its affiliated outlets.
