Israeli and U.S. Attacks on Three Schools in Iran Leave 86 Students Dead
WANA (Feb 28) – The head of the Center for Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Education of Iran announced that Israeli and U.S. attacks on three schools across Iran have left at least 86 students dead and dozens more injured.
Hossein Sadeghi stated that 85 students were killed in an attack on a girls’ school in the city of Minab. In a separate strike on a school in Abyek, one additional student was killed, bringing the total number of child fatalities to 86.
He further reported that 90 students were injured in the attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab. In the Narmak district of Tehran, two male students were also wounded while returning home from school; officials said their general condition is good.

Authorities confirmed that debris removal operations, as well as the recovery of victims’ bodies and the transfer of the injured to medical centers, are still ongoing at the Minab school site.
The attacks on educational institutions have sparked widespread reaction within Iran and raised serious concerns about the safety of civilians—particularly children—amid escalating military tensions.
