WANA (Jun 19) – Iranian security forces have downed 16 Israeli miniature drones in western Tehran and arrested 24 individuals accused of attempting to spread fear, distort public opinion, and undermine the Islamic Republic, according to the West Tehran Police Commander.

In a related operation by Tehran police, a pickup truck carrying a large number of explosive-laden drones was seized, and a suspected Mossad agent was arrested.

The Iranian police force (FARAJA) reported that agents linked to the Israeli regime were caught deploying explosive drones in the deserts surrounding Tehran. The operation also led to the seizure of control equipment, explosives, and drones.

Separately, in North Khorasan, police arrested an individual accused of photographing sensitive locations such as a wheat silo and a flour factory in the city of Ashkhaneh.

Last Friday, the Israeli regime, in clear violation of international law and Iran’s national sovereignty, launched a military attack targeting areas in Tehran and several other cities. During this terrorist attack, a number of military commanders, scientists, and civilians were killed.

Following this action, Iranian armed forces launched Operation “True Promise-3” against the regime.
