WANA (Jun 28) – During the recent 12-day imposed conflict between Israel and Iran, several Israeli drones experienced electronic disruption caused by Iran’s integrated air defense network and were safely brought down without damage.

According to technical sources, the operation relied on electronic warfare (EW) tactics and domestically developed technologies. Iranian specialists had previously gained access to the control systems of the advanced American RQ-170 drone and reverse-engineered it, paving the way for mass production of similar models.

Reports indicate that one of the drone’s transceiver components was manufactured by the Canadian company Talisman, while its engine was produced in the United States.
