WANA (Jun 20) – The behavior demonstrated by the representative of the Israeli regime against the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict is the direct consequence of the absolute impunity granted to Tel Aviv, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated.

 

In a social media post on X accompanied by a video clip showing the Israeli envoy verbally attacking and insulting the UN official, Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the incident as a “shameful exhibition of arrogant defiance.”

 

He asserted that such actions defy reason, law, morality, and justice, describing them as the inevitable outcome of the shielding provided to what he termed an apartheid terrorist regime by its global enablers.

 

Baghaei added that the regime persists with its genocidal campaign against the Palestinian population and across the wider region with total disregard for civilized norms.

 

The spokesperson concluded by stating that it is long past time for the international community to stand up and confront this unprecedented threat to global peace and humanity.
