WANA (Jul 03) – Israeli media reported that a 21-year-old Israeli man has been arrested and indicted on charges of spying for Iranian intelligence agencies.

 

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, prosecutors in Jerusalem filed an indictment against Eli Levon, 21, accusing him of carrying out intelligence-related activities on behalf of Iran.

 

The report said Levon was in contact in late 2025 and early 2026 with two individuals identifying themselves as “Sina” and “Alexander,” who prosecutors allege were working for Iranian intelligence services.

 

According to the indictment, Levon carried out assignments including photographing locations in Jerusalem and documenting a building in the Bukharan Quarter.

 

He allegedly received payments in exchange for completing the missions.
