WANA (Oct 10) – Following Israel’s capitulation to the Palestinian resistance, analytical sources report that Tel Aviv has launched a large-scale psychological operations campaign aimed at reshaping public perception of battlefield realities and distorting the political dimensions of its defeat. This campaign operates along several axes, each designed to rebuild Israel’s damaged image in the eyes of regional and global audiences.

First, the Israeli regime is attempting to highlight the “release of hostages” as its main achievement in recent negotiations. However, the facts on the ground reveal that this outcome was the result of Tel Aviv being forced to accept an end to the war and to retreat from its declared objectives. Through this new narrative, Israel seeks to reframe its military and political failure as a humanitarian exchange, in order to distract its domestic audience from the depth of the crisis it faces.

Second, Tel Aviv, in overt coordination with factions aligned with Donald Trump, is working to portray the connection between Hamas and Iran as the central element behind recent developments. Regional analysts, however, emphasize that Iran’s role has not been in planning Hamas’s operations but rather in strengthening the Axis of Resistance and increasing the cost of Israeli aggression — a dynamic that ultimately compelled Tel Aviv to accept the resistance’s conditions.

Third, Israel is attempting to erase Palestinian voices from the media narrative in order to conceal its failure to achieve key war objectives, such as full control over Gaza and the preservation of its occupation structure. This tactic involves diverting media focus toward marginal and trivial issues while ignoring the Palestinian people’s demand for self-determination.

Finally, the fourth objective of this psychological operation is to mask Tel Aviv’s ongoing intent to prolong the conflict on multiple fronts. Although the Israeli regime outwardly speaks of peace and ceasefire, its military activities along the northern borders and repeated threats against Lebanon and Syria indicate that its core strategy remains centered on confrontation and destabilization.

Experts believe that Tel Aviv’s new psychological operation is less an effort to persuade global audiences than a desperate attempt to restore internal morale and prevent the collapse of political cohesion within the Israeli regime.

These narrative-building efforts demonstrate that while Tel Aviv has accepted its military defeat, it has yet to acknowledge its strategic one. Thus, Israel’s battle has shifted — from the field of combat to the realm of minds and media.
