Japanese Vessel Passes Through Strait of Hormuz with Iran’s Authorization
WANA (May 14) – Japan’s Prime Minister announced that a Japanese-affiliated vessel has successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz, left the Persian Gulf, and is now heading toward Japan.
He stated that the Japanese government carried out a series of diplomatic efforts to secure the vessel’s passage, including direct communication with Masoud Pezeshkian as well as coordination by Japan’s Foreign Minister Motegi, in cooperation with the Japanese embassy and other relevant parties.
According to the Japanese Prime Minister, these diplomatic arrangements ultimately ensured the safe passage of the Japanese vessel through the Strait of Hormuz.
