Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters: “Don’t Call Your Defeat a ‘Deal’”
WANA (Mar 25) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Second Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, warned against framing what he called a strategic failure as a diplomatic agreement.
“The strategic power you boasted about has turned into a strategic defeat,” Zolfaghari said. “If the self-proclaimed global superpower could have escaped its predicament, it would have done so by now. Don’t call your failure a ‘deal.’ The era of your empty promises is over.”
He added that in today’s world, two sides exist—right and wrong—and no free and just-seeking actor is influenced by the adversary’s media campaigns. “Are your internal conflicts now reduced to negotiating with yourselves?” he asked rhetorically.
Zolfaghari emphasized that previous investment schemes in the region and former energy and oil pricing structures will not return until foreign powers recognize that regional stability is guaranteed by the strength of Iran’s armed forces. “Stability comes through power,” he said.
He further stressed: “No situation will return to its former state unless our will permits it. That will is only established when any thought of action against the Iranian people is completely removed from your minds.”
Concluding his statement, the IRGC spokesperson said: “Our stance from day one has been clear and remains unchanged: no one like us will ever reconcile with anyone like you—neither now, nor ever.”
