Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters Spokesperson: “The Strait Will Not Return to Its Previous State”
WANA (Mar 25) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters delivered a sharply worded statement, warning that the current status of a key strategic strait will not revert to previous conditions.
He said that while opposing sides seek to avoid a prolonged war, “the resilience of our nation and the power of our armed forces increase with every passing moment.”
He added that adversaries would eventually be forced to reach conclusions about the outcome of the conflict themselves and would ultimately submit to negotiations.
He also criticized foreign political leadership, claiming they appear to be suffering from “severe miscalculation at the policymaking level.”
Referring to public sentiment, he stated that “in the heart of our nation present on the ground, there is nothing but hope and determination to continue the fight.”
The spokesperson also pointed to global energy dynamics, saying “the fire beneath oil prices has been burning for some time,” and emphasized that “the intensity of that fire is in our hands,” describing it as only one factor in a complex, multi-variable equation designed for this confrontation.
He warned that not only have “your regional military structures and visible assets been shattered,” but that “your very survival is also within our grasp.”
Highlighting Iran’s position, he said the Islamic Republic is “itself a designer of regional structures,” citing its history, geography, and what he described as its “unattainable and enduring nature.”
On maritime access, he declared: “The situation of the strait will not return to its previous state. Developments will occur according to our will.” He added that, with reliance on God, “the path is closed to oppressors and their allies.”
He further announced that transit regulations have been “firmly and decisively rewritten,” stating: “The law is clear and transparent: you and any party associated with you have no right of passage. The authority to issue transit permits rests solely with us.”
The spokesperson claimed that adversaries have effectively been immobilized, adding: “What has been lost is not merely your bases, but the order you constructed.”
He also referenced Iran’s national flag, stating: “The green, white, and red flag, with the name of God inscribed upon it, has prevailed over you.”
Criticizing historical comparisons, he said adversaries would not understand Iran due to their “short and violence-filled historical experience, which cannot be compared to Iran’s.”
In reference to Palestine, he added: “Our waves of offensive actions have exceeded the number of years of the occupation of Palestine by Zionist forces.”
He concluded by framing the conflict in broader ideological terms, stating: “Today, every free individual in the world stands on the right side of history in the historic divide between truth and falsehood, while those who cannot be guided remain so due to their corruption.”
