Full text of the message from Major General Pilot Ali Abdollahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters:
“We have repeatedly declared that the security of the Strait of Hormuz is under the control of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Under all circumstances, any safe passage must be coordinated with our armed forces.
The criminal leaders and the aggressive, terrorist U.S. military—which in recent times has resorted to acts resembling piracy in international waters, endangering global trade and economic security—along with their allies, should understand that the resilient and courageous Iranian nation and its prepared and powerful armed forces have proven in practice that they respond to any threat or aggression by the enemy, at any level and in any region of Iran, with a severe and regret-inducing reaction.
We will preserve and firmly manage the security of the Strait of Hormuz with full capability. We also announce to all commercial vessels and oil tankers to refrain from any attempt to transit without coordination with the armed forces stationed in the Strait of Hormuz, so that their safety is not put at risk.
We warn that any foreign armed force—particularly the aggressive U.S. military—if it intends to approach or enter the Strait of Hormuz, will be met with attack.
Supporters of the hostile United States should be cautious and avoid actions that could lead to irreversible regret, because any aggressive move by the U.S. to disrupt the current situation will only make conditions more complex and jeopardize the security of vessels in this area.”
