WANA (Jun 08) – According to images released from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) operation conducted on Tuesday night, Kheibar Shekan solid-fueled ballistic missiles were used in the strike targeting the Ramat David Airbase. The missiles were reportedly launched from western regions of Iran.

 

The Kheibar Shekan is a third-generation long-range ballistic missile developed by the IRGC. With a range of 1,450 kilometers, a launch weight of approximately 4,500 kilograms, and a length of 10 meters, it is considered one of Iran’s most advanced solid-fueled missile systems.

 

Among its key features are a multi-cone warhead design and maneuverability during the terminal phase of flight, capabilities intended to enhance its ability to penetrate missile defense systems and improve strike accuracy.

 

Reports indicate that the Ramat David Airbase in northern Israel was the primary target of the operation, which was carried out as part of Iran’s ongoing military response to recent regional developments.
