WANA (Jul 24) – Major General Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said that under what he described as a “definitive and officially declared battlefield equation,” the killing of every Iranian citizen would be met by targeting one U.S. service member.

In a statement, Abdollahi said the policy was based on what he called a “battlefield rule” that had previously been proven operational. He added that, from this point forward, for every Iranian citizen killed, one U.S. troop would be targeted.

Addressing the United States, the commander also issued a warning, saying Iran had “prepared direct one-way tickets to hell” for American forces.

Abdollahi said the policy would henceforth serve as one of the fixed rules governing Iran’s response to any action resulting in the killing of Iranian citizens.
