Kuwaiti Presenter Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison for Supporting Iran
WANA (Jun 05) – Zainab Dashti, a presenter for Kuwait’s state television, has been sentenced to three years in prison due to her supportive stances toward Iran.
The Kuwaiti-born presenter was sentenced to three years of imprisonment following the publication of material on social media that Kuwaiti authorities deemed pro-Iran. The Kuwaiti Court of Appeals recently upheld this verdict against Dashti.
