Larijani Holds Talks with Qatar’s Prime Minister
WANA (Jan 28) – The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and the Prime Minister of Qatar held consultations on the latest regional developments.
Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which they discussed the latest developments and diplomatic solutions for the situation in the region.
Earlier, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Thani had held a phone call last night, and the two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and current international developments.
Meanwhile, Masoud Pezeshkian, on Tuesday evening, held a telephone conversation with Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reviewing the latest international and regional developments as well as recent events in Iran.
The Iranian president said that the approach of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on preserving unity and cohesion among ethnic groups and religions and strengthening national solidarity.
At the regional level as well, efforts are focused on reinforcing and enhancing the development of friendly relations and the expansion of cooperation with Islamic countries, based on an approach rooted in Islamic brotherhood.
