WANA (Feb 11) – Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, arrived in Doha on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, where he was welcomed by senior Qatari officials.

 

Immediately upon arrival, Larijani, who also serves as an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, headed to the Amir’s Palace for talks with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.

 

Ali Larijani met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

 

According to the report, Larijani, who also held talks with the Amir of Qatar during the visit, later met with the country’s foreign minister. The two sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of political dialogue, bilateral cooperation, and regional engagement in promoting stability and security in the Middle East.

 

The visit is part of Iran’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with regional countries and to enhance dialogue on international and regional developments.
