WANA (Aug 12) – Mojtaba Amani, Iran’s ambassador to Beirut, said on Tuesday that the upcoming visit of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, to Lebanon comes at a sensitive moment in the country’s history.

 

He stressed that during his candid meetings in Lebanon, Larijani will convey Iran’s perspectives.

 

The ambassador added that the outcomes of Larijani’s upcoming talks in Beirut will serve the interests and security of both Iran and Lebanon.

 

Larijani, who is currently in Iraq, is scheduled to travel to Lebanon tomorrow to meet and hold discussions with Lebanese officials.
